today being the first day.
At around 3.45pm,
I noticed a queue forming in front of Buzz,
and wondered what freebies are they offering(why else would singaporeans queue?).
After a while, I saw someone bringing the chinese newspaper 联合晚报 to the stall,
followed by some cartons of I-don't-know-what.
Until one uncle proudly came to tell me he got a copy of the paper plus a can of free Polar Mixed Nuts(not nice!).
The queue was amazingly long,
and people actually re-queue after getting their first/second/third copies of the paper(and free nuts).
Tsktsk.
Singaporeans.

and in case you're wondering,
no I did NOT join the queue.
